About Me

Daxton MacTavish the Wandmaker: This blog was developed as a "virtual museum" to showcase some of the wands made over the last few hundred years by a fictional master wandmaker, Daxton MacTavish. Like any artisan his inspiration comes from a variety of sources; literature, movies, nature and often music. There are wands made for woodland faeries, battle dwarves, wizards, witches and other magical beings, both dark and light. Although some of the wands created by Daxton were inspired by both the Harry Potter books and films none of the wands are intended as replicas. We hope you have a magical visit and find inspiration in his work.
